It was a big day for us yesterday - Larry & I each got new library cards! I don't think there has ever been a time since I got my first card when I was eight years old that I was without one. When I moved to Denver, I lived just a few blocks from the library, and one of the first things I did after settling into my little apartment was get a library card. Same thing when I moved to Elizabeth - I paid a visit to the tiny library there and walked away with a shiny new library card. And when we moved to Castle Rock, the library became one of our favorite destinations - especially after church on Sundays. While we were on the road moving here from Colorado, we had to rely on used book stores to satisfy our need to read, but now that we are "residents", we paid a visit to the Everett Public Library and walked away as official patrons.
