Standin' on the Corner in Winslow, Arizona

We woke up early this morning in the Pilot Truck Stop  parking lot in Winslow. It was so warm compared to the morning before in Santa Fe, and  Duchess was quite comfy on the sofa...

 We left her in Jumbo while we walked over to Denny's and had breakfast.

After we had filled ourselves up, we both needed to fill up our vehicles... Jumbo cost $150!!!

Here's my car parked in front of the train tracks. We're both quite thankful for ear plugs. If not for them, the combination of the trains going by and the big rigs pulling in and out would have kept us up all night!

We drove into Winslow and Larry found a spot to park in front of the old Winslow Theater, right across the street from the Standin' on the Corner corner...

We crossed the street...

and stood on the corner!!! Such a fine sight to see...
