When filling the water tank, water began pouring out under the sink and the washing machine. Oh, no!!! Larry first removed the washing machine and discovered a broken cold water valve and a split hot water plastic pipe. He was able to cut and seal both of those, and since we won't be re-installing the washing machine, we can use that space as storage.
Under the sink Larry discovered a 3 foot section of split cold water pipe, after removing a section of wall between the under-sink and furnace cabinet.

ReplyDeleteGood thing Larry noticed the leaks as he continued his work on Jumbo. I'm glad he managed to fix the pipe problems even though he has a narrow space to work in. How's your washing machine now? I hope you don't experience the same problem again.

You may have lost the washing machine, but you’ve gained a new space to store your other appliances or stuff. I hope everything will continue to be good in the plumbing department.
