A few weeks later, we brought Jumbo home to our front yard and began the task of cleaning the "basement" of mouse droppings, stripping the wallpaper , picking out the color scheme, and painting. We decided to start with the bedroom and work our way forward...
Jumbo parked under the apple tree, with the basement doors open, ready for cleaning.
After cleaning for a couple of hours, we enjoyed our first meal in Junbo - egg salad sandwiches and potato salad.
There was a fair amount of water damage behind the passenger seat, so we removed the swivel chair that was in front of it in order to make the repairs, and decided to leave it out and replace it with my lovely light green wicker chair.
We began tearing off the wallpaper in the bedroom.
I found a small electric skillet which is just the right size for Jumbo's tiny kitchen.
Our first dinner in Jumbo was a tofu/veggie stir fry. It was delicious, and we had so much fun eating in out new home!

We painted the walls a lovely shade called "Myrtle Blossom" - thank you, Martha Stewart!
With the bedroom finished, we move forward...
