The next step was to add layer after layer of wood putty to the dry-rot section.
Larry added a metal section to the wall next to the stove.
Larry fixed the broken door lock...
and we removed the passenger seat to allow room for a space for our plants, books, etc. Larry will tile it and it will be fantastic!
Larry cutting the wood to complete the area which will be tiled.
I found the perfect spot for my "Chinese hat" that I have had for years. It covers the non-working clock that we couldn't figure out how to remove.
Preparing the area to be tiled...
A well-deserved moment of rest...
The new red sheet which now covers the sofa.
We painted the dining area, kitchen, and living room "Cornichon". At first I thought it looked more like pea soup than a small French pickle, but as we added a second coat and it dried, it was perfect. I'm going to convert the cover that previously was on the sofa into dinette cushion covers.
Another view of our paint job and the chair I found at Ikea.
I've had this plaque since I was about seven and it has been with me ever since. We found the perfect place for it.
Larry sanding the almost completely repaired water damage area, after many layers of wood filler.
Just another sanding and second coat in a few spots, and we'll be done with this phase...
